Did you know that the minimum wage in Virginia recently increased to $9.50/hour and will be increasing over the next few years – up to $12 by January of 2023?
This affects both your hourly AND salaried employees.
To determine hourly rate for a salaried person, divide the salary by 2,080. Your employees’ hourly rates should meet or exceed the minimum wage.
