HIPAA for Behavior Analysts

In this webinar, we discuss the Health Insurance Portability and Accessibility Act (HIPAA) as it relates to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code and to state licensure regulations as they pertain to confidentiality, privilege, and use and disclosure of protected health information.  The presentation works through a number of scenarios that exemplify situations behavior analysts and their supervisees may encounter, and how these may be handled in a way that is consistent with both the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code and state licensure regulations while meeting relevant client or organizational needs.
