Objectives:

1. Describe at least two limitations of traditional AAC assessment practices and identify how these limitations may affect behavior analytic intervention planning.

2. Explain the four iterative steps of the Applied Model of Interprofessional Collaboration—Assessment (AMIC–A) and analyze how each step can be applied within behavior analytic practice to support individualized AAC intervention.

3. Evaluate the role of interprofessional collaboration (between BCBAs, SLPs, caregivers, and other stakeholders) in AAC assessment and develop strategies for integrating shared goal-setting, data collection, and intervention fidelity within a behavior analytic framework.
