VirginiaABA Presents:  What Does It Take to Practice ABA?

Description: This presentation discusses what should be considered or evaluated when introducing an ABA practice into an already existing healthcare system. A discussion of the system development approach is included to identify what is important to consider and discuss when working with colleagues who do not have knowledge regarding the practice of ABA. Evaluation of currently existing, non-ABA, systems will be discussed. An ongoing case example will be used to demonstrate what participants should consider.

Learning Objectives:  Participants who attend will learn the following objects:
1) How to identify what is needed to develop an ABA practice within an already existing healthcare system
2) How to identify what steps that need to be taken as well as identifying what limitations might exist
3) How to engage in discussion with clinical and non-clinical colleagues about the systems and needs for an ABA practice
4) How to evaluate currently existing systems regarding the development of an ABA system
Members who attend at least 50 minutes and are no more than 5 minutes late or leave no more than 5 minutes early will be eligible for 1 Learning CEU, Ethics.  This presentation will be recorded for future viewing.
