Emily Wilson: Owner & Operations Director Blossom Behavioral Services

Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Religion from James Madison University in 2011. She began providing ABA therapy in 2012 as a behavior technician. In 2016, she graduated from Florida Tech’s master’s program with a degree in Professional Behavior Analysis. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst later that year. Katie played an instrumental role in Emily’s education, supervision, and professional development in the years leading up to her certification, and she continues to provide invaluable support as a co-owner of this organization.

Beyond the BCBA certification, Emily has additional training and experience in a variety of subject areas, including Trauma-Informed Behavior Analysis, Skills Based Training, Precision Teaching, Organizational Behavior Management, Early Childhood Development, Motivational Interviewing, Assent Based Interventions, as well as instruction on how to implement several ABA-based assessment tools.

 

Nicole Leonard: BCBA with EMG Consulting

Nicole Leonard is a Behavior Analyst at EMG Consulting, with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has worked across educational, home, and community settings, supporting individuals with disabilities across the lifespan and collaborating closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams. Nicole is passionate about ethical, values-driven practice and professional development. Nicole holds a master’s degree in special education from Old Dominion University and completed her behavior analytic coursework from the Florida Institute of Technology. A lifelong resident of Tidewater, she lives in Chesapeake with her husband, two kids, and one adorable dog. Outside of work, Nicole is a dedicated Girl Scout leader and enjoys camping, spending time outdoors, and fostering leadership and community engagement in youth.

Claire Ellis: VP of Clinical Training & Development Children’s Specialized ABA

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Claire Ellis blends clinical expertise with a passion for mentorship and creativity, ensuring every client and team member feels supported and empowered. Known for developing engaging training programs and fostering compassionate care, Claire Ellis turns opportunities for learning and growth into meaningful & measurable progress- all while keeping a sense of humor and a sharp focus on excellence. Claire has worked in multiple settings providing ABA therapy, both as a clinician and in leadership roles. When not working, Claire loves spending time with her family, exploring new cities, cycling (both as an enthusiast and a fan of professional racing), diving into books that offer fresh perspectives and sharing laughs with the people she loves most.
