Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health (CPBH) is seeking an experienced behavior analyst and dynamic leader to serve as the Associate Director of our Early Learner Program providing early and intensive behavioral intervention services to young children diagnosed with autism and related disorders. CPBH is owned and led by a published BCBA-D and licensed psychologist and located in the beautiful coastal city of Wilmington, North Carolina. We provide the highest quality of care and excellence in training through specialized programs delivering applied behavior analysis (ABA) and psychological services to children and adolescents with intellectual/developmental disabilities and a variety of behavior disorders. Our specialized programs include a Behavioral Pediatrics Program, Early Learner Program, Pathways (for adolescents and teens) Program, Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program, School Consultation Program, and Severe Behavior Program. We are the only provider in the Cape Fear region and/or North Carolina with some of these specialized programs. Our supervision team includes 4 doctoral-level and 3 master’s-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and licensed psychologists with varied expertise in our specialized program areas. We are expanding our services and looking for compassionate, science-focused behavior analysts to join our team. Our Early Learner Program will transition to our new 10,000 square foot state-of-the art pediatric clinics building (with 3,000 square feet of outdoor space) this winter.

Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Associate Director of our Early Learner Program is to oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of services, training, and supervision in the program by:
• providing mentoring to behavior analysts serving clients and supervising technicians
• ensuring all supervisors are developing the most current empirically supported behavioral assessments and interventions and supervision methods
• improving ongoing training and supervision programs for technicians and interns pursing certification
• developing and evaluating systems to improve program effectiveness and efficiency
• working within our clinical leadership team to ensure effective, collaborative care
• coordinating client services with our administrative team
• developing collaborative relationships with community partners
• conducting applied research in the areas of verbal behavior and early intervention, not required but supported

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, or related field; doctoral degree is preferred
• Current BCBA(-D) certification
• Competency in developing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs for young children
• Competency supervising behavior technicians
• Experience supervising trainees pursuing board certification
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and team collaboration
• Desire to continually achieve high client outcomes with compassion
• Creative and organized
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
