Position Summary:
Develops a program that creates and maintains a culture of behavior support via hands-on individual and family engagement. Implements specific positive behavioral support services to achieve individual goals for all identified individuals as well as model for REACH clinical and therapeutic home staff.

Essential Job Functions:
Becomes familiar with state regulatory bodies and requirements to establish program.
Provides positive behavioral support services for individuals served and their families to ensure the behavioral needs of all individuals served are addressed properly.
Conducts comprehensive assessments and provides therapeutic services.
Performs functional behavioral assessments of behavior and develops behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Develops measures and tools for data collection in the therapeutic programming.
Provides training to staff on data collection and various tracking methods.
Identifies clinical and behavioral training needs and works with Clinical Director and Clinical Specialist to develop and enhance the therapeutic curriculum.
Completes clinical reports, progress notes, and data summaries in a timely and compliant manner.
Conducts professional development activities and in-service training for staff and families on applied behavior analysis.
Monitors, consults and coaches staff in assessment and implementation of behavioral goals.
Keeps up to date with trends, locally and nationally as it relates to early childhood education, autism, evidenced based intervention modalities and behavioral services.
Follows established child and adult abuse reporting requirements.
Compiles and maintains observations, documentation and evaluation of each individual served growth and development for the purpose of planning activities to suit individual needs.
Assures confidentiality of records.

Requirements
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification required.
Master’s Degree in Human Service-related field from an institution appropriately accredited and recognized by the Department of Education required.
Minimum one year of full-time work experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism. Three years of full-time experience preferred.
Positive Behavior Supports facilitator preferred.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organization, time management, and follow up skills.
Meets qualifications as established by specific funding sources.
Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
Ability to work with staff, participants, and the public in a professional and concerned manner.
Must have unrestricted, state-appropriate driver’s license and current personal vehicle insurance.
Must be able to use own personal, reliable transportation for work.
