The Applied Behavior Analysis Director of Clinical Education (ABA-DCE) will have primary oversight for the clinical and experiential requirements within the undergraduate and graduate departmental programs. The successful candidate may be located on campus in Staunton, VA or may work remotely from another location. The position will include related teaching responsibilities specific to the clinical and supervision components for the applicable degree programs. The ABA-DCE will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with suitable clinical settings, including verifying arrangements for supervision with qualified preceptors, maintain current written agreements with community partners and clinical sites, and establish/track data from student clinical experiences that demonstrate achievement of student learning outcomes and program objectives. The ABA-DCE vacancy is a full time, renewable, non-tenure-track, 12-month faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor, working with a diverse undergraduate/graduate student body. Salary Information: While final determinations will be negotiated between the final/selected candidate and the Dean, we anticipate a base salary of approximately $70K with an opportunity (at the new hire’s discretion) to teach additional courses or advise thesis students for supplemental compensation. Note that base salary negotiations would also depend on if the candidate meets the criteria for the rank of assistant professor or for associate professor.
