SJH Behavioral Consulting, LLC provides Therapeutic Consultation services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northern Virginia. Our services are person-centered and individually tailored to support individuals who want to learn functional skills while reducing challenging behaviors that interfere with meeting their goals and living their best lives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting behavioral assessments
Developing a person-centered Behavior Support Plan
Developing personalized data collection methods
Consulting with and training the individual and their treatment team to implement the BSP
Consulting with the individual and their treatment team in a variety of settings: virtually, in the home, residential home, day program, community, or job site
Minimum Qualifications Required:
BCBA – The candidate must be a Licensed Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia (or able to obtain licensure upon employment)
OR
BCaBA – The candidate must be a Licensed Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia (or able to obtain licensure upon employment)
Locations:
Fairfax County, Alexandria – Up to 50% of services can be provided virtually!
Schedule:

Preferred Skills:
Experience with individuals in the ID/DD community
Experience with parent/caregiver training
Experience collaborating with large teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Requirements:
Computer/laptop/tablet with access to Microsoft Office
Reliable and stable internet connection for virtual sessions
Background check
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Type: 1099 Contractor
Pay: $75.00 – $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 hours per week
Work Location: Fairfax County, VA – Hybrid with at least 50% in person
