Therapeutic Consultant – 1099 Contract Work – Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) OR Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
SJH Behavioral Consulting, LLC provides Therapeutic Consultation services to adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Northern Virginia area. Our services are individually tailored to support individuals who desire to learn functional skills while reducing challenging behaviors. We consult with treatment teams to help individuals achieve their goals and live their best lives.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic, and well-organized individual with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people in various settings.
Knowledge of Medicaid waiver and licensing regulations in Virginia is a plus.
BCBAs/BCaBAs should be able to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
This position requires at least 50% travel within the greater Northern Virginia area. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
The BCBA/BCaBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized behavior support plans, and training others to implement these plans. This position offers flexible scheduling and provides opportunities to work in a diverse range of environments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting behavioral assessments
Developing personalized data collection methods
Developing a person-centered Behavior Support Plan
Consulting with and training the individual and their treatment team to implement the BSP
Consulting with the individual and their treatment team in a variety of settings: virtually, in the home, residential home, day program, community or job site
Minimum Qualifications Required
BCBA – The candidate must be a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia
(or able to obtain licensure upon employment)
BCaBA – The candidate must be a Licensed Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia (or able to obtain licensure upon employment)

Fairfax, Springfield, Alexandria – Up to 50% of services can be provided virtually!

Salary Range:
$75-$85 per hour
