SJH Behavioral Consulting, LLC provides Therapeutic Consultation services to adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities in the Northern Virginia area. We are seeking dedicated BCBAs and BCaBAs that have experience or would be interested in gaining experience with the adult population and consultation. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic, well-organized individual with a demonstrated ability to work and communicate with a variety of people in a variety of settings. BCBAs/BCaBAs should be able to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
Our services are person centered and tailored to support individuals who have a desire to increase functional skills, learn new skills, and decrease challenging behaviors that may interfere with meeting their desired goals and living their best lives.
The BCBA/BCaBA will be responsible for Assessments, developing individualized behavior support plans, and training others to implement the plan. Typical responsibilities include completing functional assessments, developing behavior support plans, training, and participating in dynamic service teams. This position is flexible in scheduling and provides opportunities to work in a wide array of environments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting behavioral assessments
Developing person-centered Behavior Support Plans
Developing personalized data collection methods
Consulting with and training the individual and their treatment team to implement the BSP
Consulting with the individual and their treatment team in a variety of settings: virtually, in the home, residential home, day program, community or job site
Minimum Qualifications Required
• BCBA
o Master’s degree in related human services field.
o Must be a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (or able to obtain licensure upon employment)
• BCaBA
o Bachelor’s degree in related human services field.
o Must be a Licensed Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia (or able to obtain licensure upon employment)
Locations:
• Fairfax County, Alexandria, Arlington – Up to 50% of services can be provided via telehealth!
Schedule:
• You set your own flexible schedule
Preferred Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with individuals in the ID/DD community
Requirements:
• Computer/laptop/tablet with access to Microsoft Office
• Reliable and stable internet connection for telehealth options

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
