Wall Residences is seeking a driven, collaborative, detail-oriented clinician to join our Direct ABA Services Team. Wall Residences is a comprehensive agency providing applied behavior analysis services to individuals and their teams across the state of Virginia. Our team provides behavior analytic services around the needs of the individuals we support, with a strong focus on positively impacting quality of life by using research-based best practices. Our practice focuses on supporting individuals who engage in interfering behaviors and experience skill deficits that affect their quality of life, both in their home and community. Our clinicians provide direct, in-person support and telehealth services.
What Does Effective Direct ABA Look Like?
Observing the individual in daily activities and natural environments to observe and assess the current interventions, support strategies, or assistive devices being used.
Developing data collection mechanisms and collecting baseline data.
Designing a written behavioral support plan detailing the interventions, environmental adaptations, and support strategies to address the identified issues and desired outcomes.
Demonstrating specialized, therapeutic interventions, individualized supports, or assistive devices.
Intervening directly with the individual and demonstrating to family/caregivers or staff such interventions.
Model, teach, and lead individualized ABA programs in adherence to ethical guidelines and principles outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Promotion of Wall Residences philosophy, mission, and values within and outside of the agency by way of networking, creating connections, and marketing.
Provide training and education to Parents/Caregivers, Stakeholders, and staff best practices in understanding and supporting the behavioral support needs of individuals receiving ABA Services through Wall Residences.
Participate in monthly ABA Team Meetings led by the Clinical ABA Coordinator in order to develop skills, collaborate, and staff cases.
Provide a minimum of 5% per month of supervision to RBTs implementing ABA programs.
Required Qualifications:
BCBA or BCaBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Licensure through the Virginia Board of Medicine
