    The Mea’Alofa Autism Support Center is an organization that is dedicated to providing the highest quality therapy to children with Autism in the Hampton Roads area using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. We have a growing, dynamic, dedicated and fun staff and a wonderful group of clients. We continue to grow and are looking to add responsible, dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, and/or BCaBAs, to our staff. These positions have competitive pay and free supervision if you are in pursuit of your BCBA or BCaBA. In clinic and full-time opportunities available.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:RBT/ BCBA/ BCaBA –

    Current Registered Behavior Technician Credential or Board Certification highly preferred.

    For RBT positions –

    • Must have a high school diploma plus at least some college experience in a related field (psychology, education, social work, special education, etc)
    • Must have experience with children
    • Must be responsible, punctual and open to feedback
    • Must have good communication skills
    • Must be CPR or BLS certified through live coursework
    • Must have reliable transportation

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide 1:1 therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
    • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with each client and family
    • Implement individualized treatment plans
    • Accept and implement feedback
    • Communicate effectively with families, supervisors and team members to promote a positive environment and best possible outcomes
    • Utilize behavior analytic principles to reduce maladaptive behaviors and increase socially significant behaviors
    • Collect accurate data
    • Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA
    • Maintain client confidentiality and ethical boundaries

    Excellent communication skills, patience, and ability to work as part of a team are a must!
