I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a PhD in education at Liberty University. The purpose of my research is to understand how performance feedback as part of different professional development approaches affects teachers’ sense of efficacy and instructional strategies efficacy. To participate you must be a board certified behavior analyst licensed to practice in the state of Virginia. Participants will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement; complete an online demographic survey; participate in two trainings one in the ethics of research and the other in the delivery of evidence-based teaching technique using behavioral skills training; and provide training in both the evidence-based teaching technique using behavioral skills training and performance feedback only. The trainings will be conducted virtually. The total participation time should be no more than 7.5 hours to complete. Once the screening form is reviewed and you have been found to meet the criteria for participation, a consent form with additional information about my research will be emailed to you. Once the consent form is received, a training schedule will be provided. Participants will receive 1.5 Ethics CEUs and 2 General Knowledge CEUs for completing the trainings.
