Last week People Magazine wrote a story about a girl named Hope and her journey with ABA. Hope’s family once thought it would be impossible to imagine their teen graduating from high school given her challenges with severe autism and the lack of therapy services in their nearby West Virginia town. Thanks to her mother’s determination, a system of support, and applied behavior analysis, Hope was able to graduate from University High School in Morgantown, WV this May at age 19.
