On September 9th, the American Medical Association (AMA) announced the release of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2027 code set which will go into effect on January 1, 2028. These include the recently revised code set for adaptive behavior services. We highly recommend that providers become educated on what these codes mean and how to accurately report these services.
